Keeping Wright's Spirit Alive: A Celebration of Raku Endo

The Wrightian Architectural Archives Japan will hold a seminar and book launch event starting at 7 pm on Friday, May 11 in Tokyo, titled "Keeping Wright¹s Spirit Alive: A Celebration of Raku Endo." Endo was the son of Arata Endo and the last Japanese architect to study with Frank Lloyd Wright.  The new Japanese-language book "Tonoshiku Tateru" offers a comprehensive overview of Endo's work and writings, and will be available for purchase.

The featured speakers are Akiko Domoto, Governor of Chiba Prefecture, Akio Okumura, Prof. Emeritus of Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music, and Tetsuya Minamiseko, Prof. Emeritus of Kogakuin University and Vice Chairman of WAAJ.
